We are on the third floor and as is often the case in Venice without an elevator.

How to get to Calle dei Botteri from the Rialto Mercato vaporetto stop:

How to get there

Getting to Our Maison de Charme is very easy.

In Car

In Plane

In Train

The cheapest option is leaving your car in one of the car parks in front of Mestre station (the city just before Venice) then cross the street and take the first train from Mestre to Venice Santa Lucia (they are frequent and you will arrive in Venice in just 10 minutes).

The car park on the island of Tronchetto is immediately after the Ponte della Libertà which connects the mainland to Venice. They do not take reservations but you can easily check availability on the site: https://www.tronchettoparking.it

The most convenient option is parking the car in one of the parks in Piazzale Roma (bus and vaporetto terminal): it is the extreme point that can be reached by car.

In this case we recommend Autorimessa Comunale or Garage San Marco.

In both cases it is better to call and take a reservation:

Autorimessa Comunale +39 41 2727301

Garage San Marco +39 41 5232213

FROM PIAZZALE ROMA:

Once reached Piazzale Roma by car or bus, simply get to the water-side of the Grand Canal where you will find the ticket office and the various vaporetto stops. You can think about the possibility of buying the ticket for 24/48/72 hours, depending on your plans.

The vaporetto to take is line #1. This is the only line that stops at Rialto Mercato (the sixth stop and closest to the b&b). Once you get off at the Rialto Mercato stop, turn right and cross the fruit and fish market, always keeping the Grand Canal on your right. Cross the small bridge that you find on the water side and you will arrive in Riva dell’Ogio, after a few meters you will find Calle dei Botteri on the left.

Our address is Calle dei Botteri 1569 ( in case you want to help yourself with Google Maps once you get off at Rialto Mercato).

FROM MARCO POLO AIRPORT

I suggest you take the land bus (ACTV # 5 or ATVO shuttle https://www.atvo.it/it-venice-airport.html) from the airport to Piazzale Roma (bus and vaporetto terminal in Venice). In about 20 minutes you will arrive in Venice. Take the vaporetto n. 1 from Piazzale Roma to the Rialto Mercato stop (the 6th, about 15 minutes) which is the closest to get to the bnb (Calle dei Botteri 1569). Info on vaporetto costs at the following link: https://actv.avmspa.it/it/content/vaporetto

Another option from the airport is taking a private water taxi: they are available from the Darsena Motoscafi (airport pier). Just give our address Calle dei Botteri near Rialto at the taxi stand (only 25 minutes for about 130 euros, up to 5 people).

The Alilaguna Orange Line service allows you to take a boat to get directly to the city center from the airport. The rides are not very frequent but it is still a good option. The closest stop to the b&b is called San Stae

A shuttle bus is available from Treviso airport that takes you directly to Piazzale Roma.

SANTA LUCIA STATION.

Exit the station and reach the water-side of the Grand Canal where you will find the vaporetti stop and the ticket office. You could consider buying the ticket for 24/48/72 hours, depending on your plans (more info at this link: https://actv.avmspa.it/it/content/vaporetto).

The vaporetto to take is line 1. This is the only line that stops at Rialto Mercato (the 5th stop, the closest to the b&b). The vaporetto trip takes about 15 minutes +3/4 minutes on foot. Our address is Calle dei Botteri 1569 (if you want to help yourself with Google Maps once you get off at Rialto Mercato).
